Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. She was inspired by her father's love in the theatre at a young childhood. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple left the airforce and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple moved from the city of Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It ran for six years. In the meantime, they were blessed with two additional children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
