Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents, who were a dentist and a school teacher were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting and theatre. The initial goal of her to become a master monkey was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. Her rise to fame as a young actress was rapid and accompanied by early success. The beginning of her career came in 1999 when she started acting professionally. After her studies, Tautou took part in the French television show for talent scouting called Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but is now separating herself from these upbringings. Her acting and modelling careers are interspersed. Her image was the mainstay of L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as the Chanel Muse. A keen photographer, she created a show in The Arles International Festival entitled Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and media that scrutinised her after her fame-making debut in the film Amelie. Also, she has several photographs that show herself.
